Voxaura Labs

Voice AI that speaks the way India talks

Voxaura Labs builds multilingual voice and messaging AI for Indian healthcare and education. Our agents answer hospital phone lines in the patient's own language, our messaging tools connect patients and doctors privately, and our AI tutor helps students learn by talking things through.

About Voxaura Labs

Most people in India don't speak to a hospital in one language. They switch between Tamil and English, Hindi and Marathi, within a single sentence. Voxaura Labs exists to build voice technology that handles that naturally.

We are an applied AI company focused on speech and conversation in Indian languages. Our first vertical is healthcare, where a missed call often means a missed appointment and a patient who never comes back. Our second is education, where millions of students, many of them distance learners, study the humanities without anyone to discuss ideas with. We combine deep research in Indic speech with hands-on experience running hospital operations, so what we ship fits how front desks and classrooms actually work.

  • Indic-first, not translated

Our systems are designed from the start for Indian languages, accents and code-mixed speech, rather than adapted from English-only products.

  • Built around real workflows

In hospitals we design around appointments, enquiries and follow-ups. In education we design around how students actually study. We measure success by the outcomes our users care about.

  • Private by design

Patient and student conversations are sensitive. Each client runs in its own isolated environment, and we integrate with hospital systems through controlled interfaces.

Our products

Three products built on the same foundation: conversation in Indian languages. Two help patients reach their hospital and help hospitals respond. The third helps students learn by talking.

In live pilots with hospitals

Voxygen: a voice agent for the hospital front desk

Voxygen answers and makes phone calls for hospitals and clinics. Patients call the number they already know and speak naturally, in their own language. Voxygen books and reschedules appointments, answers common questions, captures enquiries for the team, and places follow-up and reminder calls, handing over to a human whenever a caller needs one.

  • Speaks Indian languagesUnderstands and replies across major Indian languages, including code-mixed speech like Tanglish and Hinglish.
  • Never misses a callHandles many calls at once, around the clock, so peak-hour and after-hours callers are not lost.
  • Fits existing systemsWorks with the hospital's current phone lines and connects to hospital management software through APIs.
  • Visible to managersA dashboard shows calls, bookings and outcomes, so teams see what happened on every call.

Courier: private WhatsApp messaging between patients and doctors

Patients already prefer WhatsApp. Courier lets them message the hospital's official WhatsApp Business number and reach the right doctor, while both sides keep their personal phone numbers private. The hospital's care desk sees incoming messages in one console and routes each to the right doctor, and the doctor's reply is delivered back to the patient automatically.

  • Numbers stay privatePatients never see a doctor's personal number, and doctors never see the patient's.
  • No shared handsetsDoctors reply from their own device, with no clinic phone passed around or messages forwarded by hand.
  • One console for the deskStaff see every conversation in one place, route it, and follow up on anything that is waiting.
  • Accountable by defaultEvery message has a clear record of who handled it and when, which supports hospital governance.

Vishwaa: an AI tutor for the humanities

History, political science, sociology and literature come alive through discussion, yet many students, especially distance learners, study them alone. Vishwaa gives every student a patient, knowledgeable tutor they can simply talk to, in the language they are most comfortable with. Its name comes from the Sanskrit for "universe", for universal access to good teaching.

  • Conversation firstStudents learn by talking ideas through, by voice or text.
  • Made for the humanitiesBuilt for subjects where understanding comes from discussion, not memorisation.
  • In Indian languagesStudents can study in English or in their own language.
  • Learn anywhereStudy at home or on the move, at any hour.
